Psychological Support for Organisations & Case Managers

All clinicians at Plum Psychology complete a rigorous interview and onboarding process including:

• HCPC registration check

• Enhanced DBS check

• Verification of qualifications and specialist training

• Proof of professional indemnity insurance

• Safeguarding training every 3 years

• Annual declarations of supervision, ICO registration and insurance

• Agreement to all Plum policies (safeguarding, data protection, risk, complaints)

• Minimum of three years post-qualification

• Two professional references

We only work with clinicians with significant experience supporting trauma, burnout, anxiety and professionals in high-stress roles.

Our clinicians are UK-registered psychologists, so where we can work is determined by professional regulation and safeguarding requirements rather than the organisation’s headquarters.

This means we can support UK-based referrals and, where appropriate, individuals who live in Europe or other regions where our registration is recognised and where we can ensure robust access to onward-care pathways in the situation where risk or safeguarding concerns are raised during our work.

EAPs offer brief, generalist counselling and signposting service. Counselling is not the type of therapy that is recommended by the National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE) for anxiety disorders, depression, trauma or burnout, for those those cases NICE recommends CBT and EMDR.
