Dr Jessica Osborne

Perhaps your past has been traumatic, or you are confused by why you feel stuck in anxiety, panic, low self-esteem or burnt out, I can help you work it out and support you to feel better.

I am an experienced HCPC-Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years of working in adult mental health.  Alongside my Plum Psychology clinic I work as the Trauma Lead in my NHS team. I bring expertise in supporting individuals to navigate and heal from the effects of trauma - whether rooted in childhood, adulthood, or both.

A note from the founder: I have known Jessica since 2012 when we worked together in Islington NHS. There I got to see her clinical depth and care through supervising her therapy work. Jessica now has the trauma-lead position in that team, so I was really pleased when she said she was interested in joining us at Plum Psychology for one clinic a week alongside her NHS work.

I am trained in a number of evidence-based approaches, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I draw on this broad toolkit to tailor therapy to each individual, always weaving a strong compassion-focused ethos through my work.

At the heart of my approach is the belief that therapy should be a safe, collaborative space. I work alongside individuals to help them to understand their experiences, build effective coping strategies, and support them to lead full and meaningful lives. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or burdened by your past, I will help you move forward at your own pace with empathy and practical tools for change.
